PivotTable Reports in Three Forms of Report Layout (Part Three)

We can use PivotTable Menu to create a new PivotTable report according to PivotTable (Part One). And we know that the data of the list with the labelled columns suits the PivotTable Filed List due to PivotTable (Part Two). As a result, we can have the finished reports in different forms with the provided data. The following details and pictures of the finished reports, Compact, Outline and Tabular, are going to be explained below.

The PivotTable Reports in Three Forms of the option of Report Layout

See all forms in the picture of Compact form, Outline form and Tabular Form with the same field list. In spite of the same arrangement on the field lists’ area, the difference in layouts cannot be prevented.

Compact Form and its Column Labels and Row Labels
Column labels & Row labels with their filters are on top of all items. All items display in the same column of Row labels but in the different columns for Column labels. The filters of Column & Row labels allow the selection of the actual field in the dropdown box for the specific criteria. However, the display of the filtering is within Column & Row labels not in each actual label.
Column labels display items from left to right in the same row.
Row labels display items from top to bottom in the different rows.

Outline Form & Tabular Form and their actual Labels on Column and Row
The actual labels, from all chosen fields, with their filters are displayed on the different columns for Outline and Tabular form. The difference between these two forms is that the first item in each label starts in the new row for Outline but in the same row for Tabular. Each filtering displays result in each label of each column.

Tabular Form with Design and Highlight
The design can be selected for an easy view. Expand or Collapse (+/-) button is optional. Conditional formatting can be chosen to make the report interesting. More features are waiting for us to make our report faster and better than before.
