· Keep away from Restore button on
iTunes as it will update your phone to the latest version of the firmware that
cannot be jailbroken at that time. (Your iPhone will operate like iPod touch.)
· If you have the problem with your
phone, ensure what solution you will use before restoring your phone with
iTunes.
· Use iFaith or TinyUmbrella to save
your SHSH blob at each version of iOS (firmware). This SHSH blob, a file with
the extension of .shsh, will enable your device to be downgraded onto the lower
firmware version which is not currently allowed by Apple.
· Your SHSH blob will be used to make
the custom firmware at the lower version. Without it, you cannot move on to downgrade
your device.
· If you accidentally upgrade to the
current firmware without operating to save SHSH blob for the previous version,
I recommend that you try to run TinyUmbrella to save SHSH blob from your device.
(I have already tried it and it makes me see lower version on the file of SHSH.)
· Use it with iFaith as iFaith works
for downgrading from iOS 5.1 to the lower version at the moment of this
writing.
· The different jailbreak application
can be used to jailbreak and unlock your phone next to the downgrade
application.
The suggestion of the application’s version: TinyUmbrella 5.10.07
